Death. Birth. There both partially the same thing. People make vows when someone passes about how they are going to change and spend more time with thier family and try to do right. Well, you know what? Thats so sad. Almost as sad as the situation of losing someone. Because after all the tears are cried and all the commotion settles down, everybody goes on with thier same old lives. OF COURSE, don't get me wrong. Life does go on. But not in the way it used too. Because that persons not there. It will never be the same. But why not make an effort to better life. For yourself and everyone.   

I miss my Grandi dearly. I have said it many times " This is the worst period of my life".....but I know for a fact that this is...the worst I've felt in my whole life. My Grandi was better than anyone I knew. I never heard him say anything bad against anyone and if he thought something he made it silly and not bad. He always had a smile. He had a wonderful reputation. Its just not fair. The world has principles and morals that " it's good to die with a good name". I never really understood that until now. I miss seeing him pass me going down the road. He had this wave he always did. It was HIS wave. No one else has ever done it. And he always smiled. I miss him so much.

Grandma Peal (Grandi's mother & Neighbor) wrote what she remembered most about him when we were collecting information for Reverend Rochester who was over Grandi's services. This is what she wrote:

  I sat at watched him walk down the porch and get in his truck and leave to go on his service calls. Or walk over on Sunday for homecooked meals at my house and his favorite, pecan pie. He loved his garden and sitting out tomato plants.

Now, everytime I go over to Grandma's the first thing nshe says is that she wants that lady put away. She wants them to put her in jail and take her licsense for hitting her son. She is very nervous and upset about the situation but we do our best to let her know as little as possible about what really happened because with her age it's not particularly good for her health and mind. I do know one thing, everytime I go to Grandmas for lunch I see Grandi sitting in his chair eating and Meem right next to him and me sitting on the corner. Even though my visits faded a bit when  I started getting older my memory is still as vivid as the day I was there. And I see him helping Grandma down the steps and over to her house. He always cared so much for her and made sure she had the best of things.  Even though she didn't think so then, because he was busy often, he always made sure she made it to doctors visits and the fruit stand.
